Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced marketing and outreach professional to lead initiatives that strengthen the School's engagement with prospective students, industry partners, alumni, government agencies, and the wider community.


The successful candidate will play a key role in conceptualising and delivering impactful outreach programmes and major internal and external events that enhance the School's profile and support its strategic objectives. 


This role requires a highly organised individual who enjoys working with diverse stakeholders, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is confident engaging audiences through presentations, hosting events, and public speaking.


Duties and Responsibilities


Marketing & Communications

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing and outreach plans to support the School's strategic objectives. 
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels to promote programmes, events, and key initiatives.
  • Develop marketing and promotional materials for outreach activities and events.
  • Monitor campaign performance and engagement metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. 


Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, industry partners, government agencies, community organisations, alumni, and other external stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop partnership opportunities to expand the School's outreach and engagement efforts. 
  • Represent the School at networking events, outreach activities, exhibitions, and partner engagements.
  • Foster collaborations that strengthen the School's visibility and impact.


Events Management

  • Lead the planning and execution of a wide range of internal and external events, including Open House, student recruitment activities, outreach programmes, conferences, workshops, industry engagements, competitions, and community events.
  • Manage end-to-end event planning, including budgeting, timelines, procurement, vendor management, logistics, risk management, and post-event evaluation.
  • Coordinate with faculty, administrative units, students, vendors, and external partners to deliver high-quality event experiences.
  • Develop event programmes, scripts, briefing materials, presentations, and promotional collateral.
  • Be comfortable emceeing events, facilitating panel discussions where required, delivering presentations, and engaging audiences of varying sizes.


Project Management

  • Lead or support strategic outreach and engagement projects across the School.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and effective stakeholder coordination.
  • Track key performance indicators and prepare reports to evaluate the success and impact of outreach and engagement initiatives.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • A recognised degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Event Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in marketing, outreach, stakeholder engagement, and event management.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and managing large-scale internal and external events.
  • Strong stakeholder management and partnership development skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Confident and comfortable with public speaking, delivering presentations, and emceeing events.
  • A proactive, collaborative, and adaptable working style with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, and digital marketing tools is an advantage.
  • Experience in higher education, public sector, or purpose-driven organisations.
  • Experience engaging prospective students, youth, or industry stakeholders.
  • Interest in technology, innovation, and higher education.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends to support outreach activities and events.
