Research Assistant, Faculty of Dentistry

Job Description

The appointee will be required to:

1. Oversees the administration and general management of the dental public health projects
2. Conduct research fieldwork, including recruiting and managing participants, data collection, data analysis
3. Assist in preparing reports and materials for stakeholders
4. Work on other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Preferably hold a degree in dental or health-related discipline or have education in dental or health-related disciplines eg Oral Health Therapy/Dental Surgery Assistant with some experience in healthcare-related research
• Have verbal proficiency in at least 2 national languages (English/Mandarin/Malay/Tamil) for performing survey interviews with study participants;
• Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications, eg Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
• Have good project management, organisation, coordination and problem-solving skills;
• Have good interpersonal skills;
• Be highly motivated individual with capacity to work independently;
• Able to start work soon
