Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Research Assistant for a project on dental tissues regeneration. The successful candidate will manage laboratory operations and work independently on a project involving advanced research techniques in cell culture, molecular biology, and chemical analysis.

 

  • Independently manage human cell culture experiments, including maintenance, passaging, and preparation of cells for further assays.
  • Perform Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) for gene amplification and analysis.
  • Conduct confocal microscopy and immunostaining for high-resolution imaging and detection of specific proteins in cells and tissues.
  • Operate a dripflow device for the dynamic culture of stem cells in fluid environments.
  • Be proficient in High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) for chemical separation and quantification.
  • Perform Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy for molecular structure identification and analysis.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with safety and ethical guidelines.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and assist in the preparation of research reports and publications.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor in dentistry, biomedical sciences or related field.
  1. Masters of PhD in Dentistry.
  2. Be proficient in High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) for chemical separation and quantification.
  3. Perform Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy for molecular structure identification and analysis.
  4. Strong expertise in human cell culture, PCR, confocal microscopy, and immunostaining.
  5. Experience with dynamic stem cell culture using a dripflow device being able to setup and operate a dripflow device independently.
  6. Maintain accurate laboratory records.
  7. Be proficient in the preparation of research reports and publications.
