Research Assistant/Associate, Faculty of Dentistry

Job Description

The Faculty of Dentistry at the National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Assistant/Research Associate to support research activities in the development of novel antimicrobials and therapeutics.

Main duties and responsibilities 

1. Provide research support to the project and conduct experiments independently; 

2. Provide administrative support to maintain laboratory safety standards and housekeeping in accordance with prevailing standard operating procedures and policies. 

Qualifications

(a) Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences or equivalent;
(b) Able to work independently and in a team with an investigative nature and attention to detail;
(c) Excellent technical skills in cellular/molecular biology, including cell culture, qRT-PCR, immunofluorescence, bacterial culture, western blot, cloning, etc.
(d) At least 2 years of relevant research experience

Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
