Job Description

Learning and Development Activities IN ORDER TO address organisation needs to prepare for a future-ready workforce. Assist to develop a framework for robust career development and opportunity within the school. 
•    Manage L&D activities which would address organisations' needs through planning, coordination, facilitation, and execution of training programs, managing learning platforms, etc 
•    Analyse and plan for organisation 's learning initiatives that need to be changed and/or implemented to increase organizational effectiveness 
•    Annual training plan and related matters
•    Manage and analyze training budget utilization
•    Manage training reports such as training records, trainees' feedback, training expenditure, and any other reports related to training
•    Coordinating all L&D Programmes and project management, including serving as a point of contact for external vendors, updating and maintaining schedules, updating learning records in addition to any other requirements for supporting a learning event
•    Conduct training vendor evaluation, selection, and procurement process
•    Provide advice and support to business leaders on HR matters, including, learning, career development, and talent management, etc
•    Administer student internship and training sponsorship process

Key contact point of the Employee Engagement Surveys IN ORDER TO support the measurement of the engagement level of employees and activities in this area. 
•    Manage the roll-out of the Employee Engagement Survey for NUS Medicine (NUHS/NUS)
•    Plan the Results-to-Action workshops for NUS Medicine as a follow-up to the Employee Engagement Survey (EES)
•    Assist to partner with HODs, Admin Leads & managers to drive relevant people initiatives
•    Identify, track, and analyze metrics of employee engagement efforts and assess the effectiveness
•    Prepare decks for the presentation of results of the EES as well as the follow-up activities from the Results-to-Action Workshops
•    Conduct of Pulse Surveys in the intervening years between the full EES
•    Maintain effective win-win working relationships with relevant Admin Leads/HODs
•    Continue to promote and foster an environment that is productive, open, empowering, safe and equitable through YLLSOM Foster & Grow Initiatives
•    Synchronise between NUS and Med school
•    Run end to end 

New Staff onboarding IN ORDER TO collaborate with HRPs for new staff engagement sessions 
•    Assist in the development and implementation of the new staff onboarding roadmap
•    Assist in the onboarding programmes and activities such as planning, scheduling, and organising new staff engagement sessions

Learning & Development Related matters IN ORDER TO ensure continuous improvements of systems and processes related to training.
•    Participates in the continuous improvements of systems and processes related to training
•    Update of Training Guidelines
•    Undertake any other duties being assigned
•    Recommending solutions to plug the gaps and achieve school mission


•    Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline 
•    At least 2-5 years of work experience in a similar role
•    Project management experience
•    Able to communicate effectively, in both written and spoken form, to all levels of staff
•    Able to persuade and convince stakeholders of key concepts and ideas and obtain endorsement and buy-in for those ideas
•    Able to use relevant media for communications, ranging from emails, EDMs, social media and etc.
•    Able to understand financial concepts, manage a budget and make budget expense reports
•    Expert user of Microsoft Excel and user for other Microsoft Office applications
•    Digitally savvy and able to apply technology to engage and culture-building initiatives
•    Familiar with procurement processes
•    Self-motivating individual with a passion for learning and development
•    Ability to work independently as well as in a team
