Job Description
The Singapore Wearable-enabled Health Impact Study (SWISH) aims to assess the impact of HPB wearable-enabled health promotion programmes on the health and health-related behaviours of participants. This project will involve recruitment, assessment, and analysis of the research data. We’re looking for a Project/operations manager who is excited to be involved in the evaluation of such national-level programmes to help in informing programmes and policies for the improvement of Singapore’s population healthcare. In this role, you will oversee the research project management.
Duties & Responsibilities
You will be expected to work with programme teams to
• Oversee and plan project demands,
• Be the Point-of-Contact for program teams and stakeholders for the project,
• Identify, man, and track issues, risks, and dependencies that affect the delivery of the project outcome
• Collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator, research teams and vendors to oversee the operations field work, lead the recruitment and ensure consistent and quality data and samples collected. This includes engagement of participants and supporting the operations team in dealing with participants complaints and queries.
• Oversight all merging and matching of data and documenting the various data sources and the matching processes.
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders through meeting management and creation of high-quality oral and written communications content
• Assist with research administration, including leading and overseeing the Research Team in research administration and programmes
• Assist the Principal Investigators to manage and support submission of progress and final reports
• Manage and monitor to ensure that project funds are correctly allocated and received, spending complies with the stipulated utilization guidelines
• Oversees submission of grant proposal, grant variations/extensions, research manpower forecasts and budgets
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
Qualifications
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•Academic publication history is a plus.
•Has relevant hands-on experience working with vendors and running research studies.
•Good grasp of research methods and design communication.
•Experience in one or more of the following types of project evaluation: physical activity and wearable technology is a plus
•Possess leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with different groups of stakeholders
Qualification: Recognised Bachelor’s Degree
