Assistant Manager - Fundraising, Donor Management (School of Computing)

Job Purpose

You will be part of the Student Life Office and playing a vital role in identifying fundraising needs and opportunities for NUS School of Computing.

Job Description

  • Identify fundraising needs for the School
  • Communicate and promote the School’s mission and vision to external stakeholders and potential donors
  • Strategize, plan and execute fundraising initiatives, activities and events that would lead to donations
  • Responsible for preparing proposals for fundraising
  • Prepare regular reports for internal and external reporting
  • Work with students to identify Class Champions
  • Work with different offices within the School and the University to manage the backend administration and processing of the fund solicitation
  • Any other duties assigned


  • Recognised University degree; qualifications in communications, public relations or related fields may be helpful
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in fundraising
  • Strong attention to details
  • Resilient and resourceful with initiative and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Must be a team player with good interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Adept at planning events,  managing multiple projects,  handling complex situations and balancing priorities
