The successful candidate will work on the legacy gift framework of the University, including work closely with prospect managers on their assigned prospects who have been identified as prospective legacy gift donors, work with volunteers/connectors and prospective legacy gift donors to move their gift intent, and to continue building awareness and interest of supporting the University’s programmes through various legacy giving modes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the legacy giving framework of the University. This will include developing and improving processes as well as working on new products and solutions.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to promote legacy giving solutions. This could include working on events, media and other outreach activities.
  • Work with prospect managers to identify and engage prospective legacy gift donors.
  • Work on immediate legacy gift cases and respond to queries from volunteers/connectors and/or prospective legacy gift donors.
  • Steward confirmed legacy gift donors.
  • Work with faculty engagement team and gift recipients on gift purposes and recording documents.
  • Maintains records and provide reports to senior management.


  • Bachelor degree of any discipline with at least 5 years working experience.
  • Experienced in handling confidential discussions/projects
  • Active listener and ability to discover intent
  • Project management skill
  • Ability to work independently while being a good team player
  • Experience in working in a relationship management role will be a plus
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing plans will be a plus
  • Experience/knowledge of higher education, philanthropy, legacy giving and/or estate planning will be a plus
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Good attention to detail and follow-through
