Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Customised Executive Programmes (CEP), the job holder will deputise for the Head (CEP) and play a pivotal role in building new business for both the Custom as well as Open Enrolment programmes (OEP). The successful candidate will play a key role in driving key programmes, projects and initiatives as well as manage a portfolio of existing high-value programmes.

The key focus of the role will be to:


• Develop plans and drive business development in target segments in Singapore, the Asia Pacific and globally to achieve incremental growth for customised and open enrolment programmes
• Partner with Head (OEP) in driving new open enrolment programmes to meet the learning needs of growth pillars of the economy
• Proactively engage corporations and identify opportunities for corporate training and development by managing, growing and sustaining effective relationships at multiple levels of an organisation with C-level executives and individual decisionmakers in targeted verticals across the region
• Consult with senior leaders and L&D heads on their business challenges and work with NUS faculty and instructors to co-create solutions that lead to leadership development and organisational impact
• Maintain an understanding of key industry trends and the future of work so as to become a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and Heads of L&D and Human Resources
• Partnering with the client, NUS Executive Education teams and faculty to oversee the design, contracting, delivery and debrief phases of customised programmes
• Formulate strategies for brand and revenue growth including the development of innovative marketing campaigns, leveraging NUS Marketing teams and resources
• Deputise for Head (CEP) and lead a team of client managers in engaging stakeholders, conducting learning analysis, curating and designing curriculum


We are looking for a highly experienced, innovative senior education leader with significant executive education experience in leadership and management.

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience working in B2B sales and key account management in the APAC region
• Maturity to take ownership and accountability for achieving agreed sales targets and account management activities
• Ability to engage and influence industry leaders and shape executive education offerings to meet changing client needs
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills combined with strong planning and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and work independently
• Adaptability and flexibility, ability to respond quickly to changing demands, processes and information
• Solid experience in managing and developing relationships with the new and existing portfolio of clients including proposal development and contracting
• Significant experience partnering with the client, faculty and programme management team to oversee the design, delivery and debrief phases of new and existing customised programme
• Ability to undertake business travel to the APAC region and beyond
• Advanced knowledge and application of MS Office suite, especially PPT and willingness to embrace new technologies in the workplace
• Maintain an understanding of key industry trends and the future of work so as to become a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and Heads of L&D and Human Resources
