Associate Director/ Senior Manager, Business Development

Job Description

  • Plan and implement business plans to penetrate new markets, increase corporate engagements and meet targets set
  • Engage and grow customer and partner accounts and relationships
  • Track competitive offerings, prospect needs to generate product development ideas and reviews of product pricing
  • Develop and implement marketing strategy to facilitate the recruitment of:
    • Local and overseas full-time students for the Master of Technology (MTech) and Graduate Diploma in Systems Analysis (GDipSA) programmes offered by the NUS-ISS
    • Locally-based ICT and digital professionals for the part-time MTech and graduate certificate programmes.
  • Identify and work with employers to facilitate matching and placement opportunities, including internship programs for professionals and graduate program students
  • Work with Government agencies to understand incentive programs for hiring of displaced employees or those looking for conversion to the ICT industry.

Qualifications

  • Good University degree with at least 10 years of business development, sales, customer account management, partner management and new programme/initiative management.
  • Experience in education/ training industry would be advantageous.
  • Possess ability to develop and implement business development strategies and programmes to achieve targets set for corporate engagements and graduate programme recruitment.
  • Possess good customer service, negotiation, communication, analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills with strong ability to develop relationships and establish networks.
  • Proven track record of successful development of new markets, customer engagement & management and graduate programme recruitment
  • Good team player and able to deliver expected work results, meticulous and analytical.
  • Willingness to accept travel for overseas business development / student recruitment trips
  • Self-starter in a fast paced environment and ability to manage multiple assignments/ open up multiple markets simultaneously
