Front-end Software Engineer, Singapore Blockchain Innovation Programme (School of Computing)

Job Purpose

Front-end Software Engineer of Singapore Blockchain Innovation Programme (SBIP) – the Front-end Software Engineer will design, develop and implement web applications for blockchain system and platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Design and build modern and user-friendly front-end interfaces.
- Develop interactive and scalable web applications.
- Develop web-based dashboard for editing and managing blockchain platform.

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- Knowledge of human-computer interaction principles and design.
- Basic experience with API design and implementation (REST, RPC, Graphql).
- Experience with JavaScript (ES6 and up), HTML, CSS, and optionally TypeScript.
- Experience with writing tests for JavaScript-based web applications.
- Experience with unit tests, e2e tests, integration tests, mocks for JavaScript and related front-end ecosystem.
- Passionate about blockchain technology.
