Laboratory Executive, Synthetic Biology (1-Year Contract)

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

1) Plan, support and coordinate research projects 
2) Manage laboratory operation and management in relation to creation, review and revision of risk assessment and SOPs, materials’ inventory, procurement, post-procurement 
processing, equipment maintenance, asset management, safety training, housekeeping of safety tools in the laboratory.
3) Other tasks include facilitating lab visits, audits/inspections, etc.

Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s degree in science preferably in life science
•  Able to work independently and in a team, have an investigative nature and be attentive to details
•  Passionate about lab safety, operations and management, self-motivated, naturally take ownership of assignments and proactively propose solutions to arising obstacles
•  Possess relevant scientific knowledge and hands-on experience in lab management and operations
