Management Assistant Officer (Communications and New Media) (2-year Contract)

Job Description

The incumbent will provide administrative and operational support to the Department of Communications and New Media (CNM) (https://fass.nus.edu.sg/cnm/)

The job responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Manage department’s fixed assets, equipment loan and maintenance of equipment;
• Manage the inventory of stationery, pantry, office supplies, etc.  
• Manage the general maintenance and cleanliness of facilities, i.e. Meeting Rooms, pantry items, teaching labs, etc. 
• Assist in the procurement and contract administration of all purchases and ensure the procurement process is in line with the University’s policy. 
• Assist in other administrative duties such as finance, etc. 
• Assist with on/off boarding procedures (such as door signage, accesses, etc.)
• Attend to walk-in enquiries for CNM
• Assist with the Department’s examination and commencement duties
• Actively contribute to the Department-level duties as and when required by Manager or Head of Department. 
   

Qualifications

• Min. Diploma holder, with preferably 2 years of working experience
• Proficient in MS Office applications, and IT-savvy
• Able to work with tight deadlines and under pressure
• Able to work meticulously, independently and as a team player
• Able to interact well with staff and students
• Possess Good oral and written communication skills
• Resourceful and has a strong sense of customer service.
