Job Description

A Centre (Hub) Manager to manage the NUS Centre for Additive Manufacturing (AM.NUS) day to day operation, industry and stakeholders engagement, which includes grantors, management committee, EXCO & PIs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Business development and management of the 3D Printing Centre at NUS (AM.NUS)
  • Coordination of the external activities at the two Labs of the 3D Printing Centre
  • Solicit industry and hospital partners for translational projects
  • Maintain and develop relationship with industry and hospital partners for technology translation
  • Support the Principal Investigators (PIs) in NUS in securing projects internally and externally
  • Evaluate new technologies for innovation and commercialization in terms of feasibility and market opportunity
  • Assist to layout technology roadmaps
  • Responsible for project budget management
  • Responsible for meeting the KPIs together with project PIs
  • Responsible for establishing procedures and key metrics to track and measure project’s execution, progression, maintaining timelines and cost targets, and identifying critical project milestones


  • More than 5 years of managerial experience in research and/or administration dealing with technology translation and/or start­ups, preferably related to 3D Printing (3DP) or biomedical technologies
  • Experience in product development, preferably in biomedical related applications
  • Able to interact with customers at every level of the organization and interfacing with academia, clinicians, industry partners and other stakeholders
  • Experience with managing intellectual property and technology translation preferred
  • Experience in the HR processes and administration in any institutes of education or research will be a plus
