Job Description
The candidate will perform Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy (STEM)-based imaging and spectroscopy, including cathodoluminescence, on monolayer and multilayer films. The candidate will be working closely with students and collaborators in NUS and A*STAR on handling 2D materials for STEM sample preparation. After optimizing the sample preparation, aberration-corrected STEM and 4D STEM measurements will be performed. 4D STEM data processing can be supported by other members of A/Prof. Bosman’s team.
Qualifications
The candidate is expected to hold a PhD degree (or has successfully submitted his/her PhD thesis), and will need to have a solid background in advanced electron microscopy for materials analysis. Hands-on experience with aberration-corrected STEM will be required, as well as demonstrated skills in (S)TEM sample preparation. The candidate is expected to work efficiently and supportively with students, research fellows, and collaborators.
