Job Description

Job Purpose:

Candidate will be part of a dynamic team in NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, to organize, plan and execute assessments across all medical years of the undergraduate program to ensure that students are competent to progress to the next Phase of study or graduate. He/she will also provide administrative, secretarial, and logistical support and guidance to the Education Committees and other stakeholders, to facilitate accurate and error free assessments.


Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Organise, plan, and execute assessments across the third medical year of the undergraduate program

  • Smooth implementation of high-stake exams
  • Well-scheduled assessment-related events with well-coordinated logistical preparations
  • A good partnership with various departments to achieve the end goal


2. Coordinate question reviews and standard setting across Phase III assessments for accreditation and quality assurance

  • Timely submission and review of blueprints and exam questions
  • Reliability and validity of assessments is upheld
  • Sufficient secretariat support provided standard-setting meetings and events


3. Dissemination of assessment-related information to internal and external stakeholders

  • Ensure that all parties obtain accurate and clear information, minimising queries


4. Handle post-assessment marks-related processes

  • Conduct appropriate analysis to facilitate constructive discussions amongst the academic staff
  • Academic-related data e.g., marks, grades, ranking etc are updated on time
  • Data is reflected accurately across various platforms with no discrepancies


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Able to work under pressure managing multiple timelines and stakeholder requirements
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated, independent, and highly adaptive to change
  • Tactful in handling confidential information
  • Able to plan at both the macro and micro level
  • Eager to assist and nurture others to achieve their potential and work towards a common goal
  • Able to weigh options and make decisions critically and systematically
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Good command of English, both verbal and written
