Senior Executive (Research), BISI (2-year contract)

Job Description

The incumbent will work closely with faculty and senior researchers to support BISI-led research and contribute to its research strategies. The key job responsibilities are as follow:


  1. Assist with research management and administration to ensure that research and related activities are performed in accordance with institutional regulations and sponsoring agency policies and procedures, including preparation of ethics and other regulatory/institutional documents as required
  2. Establish and maintain PI file, study logs, reports and other research materials in compliance to ethics and institutional regulations.
  3. Coordinate research meetings, schedules, and study plans.
  4. Monitor and track study budget and timelines
  5. Procure or acquire materials needed for research and liaise with vendors as needed.
  6. Assist with conducting or participate in research activities such as participant recruitment, interviews, surveys and answering questions related to the study as required.
  7. Assist with data collection or analysis (incl using software such as NVivo, SPSS or similar).
  8. Work with researchers/PIs to manage day-to-day activities pertaining to research including troubleshooting, communication (incl with internal and external to BISI stakeholders) and protocol management.


  • A good first degree in a relevant health or behavioural science discipline
  • A good postgraduate-level qualification
  • Relevant experience within an academic or healthcare setting is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge in research ethics and HBRA is advantageous
  • Experience with project management
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to operate effectively within a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technologically savvy and proficient in Microsoft applications like Word, TEAMS, Excel and Power-point
