Job Purpose

The position is part of a team within OSA (Community Engagement) to engage and integrate students in the scholarship programmes, drive campus-wide integration, as well as provide advisory to cultural and faith-based student organisations and student groups on integration projects. The candidate also manages all reporting aspects of the engagement programmes.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

1.    Develop and deliver effective quality services and programmes with an outcome focused approach.
2.    Prepare reports for submission to various stakeholders. This includes data preparation (collecting, cleaning, mining and consolidating), statistical analysis and presentation.
3.    Manage data collection activities such as focus group discussion, online survey administration etc.
4.    Function as direct points-of-contact for students in the scholarship programmes so as to provide quicker and more adequate responses to students.
5.    Support and advise cultural and faith-based student organisations, as well as student groups on integration projects.
6.    Evaluate the engagement efforts through quantitative and/or qualitative methods and data analysis of obtained results.
7.    Participate in cross functional projects and undertake other responsibilities as assigned.
8.    Manage the administrative and reporting duties generated from the scope listed above.

Qualifications

1.    Bachelor’s Degree holder, and with at least 2 years of work experience.
2.    Working experience in the International Student Engagement, Youth Development and Education related industries would be advantageous.
3.    A good team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4.    Meticulous and detail-oriented.
5.    Able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment with multiple timelines and stakeholders.
6.    Resourceful and possess strong organisational, project management, administrative and documentation skills.
7.    Strong interpersonal & communication skills (in both verbal and writing).
8.    Proficient in outcomes and impact measurement.
9.    IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications.
