Programme Head / Manager, ICE71

Job Description

ICE71 (Innovation Cybersecurity Ecosystem at BLOCK71) is the region's first cybersecurity entrepreneur hub with bootcamps, accelerator programmes, landing pad and events specially for cybersecurity entrepreneurs. We are growing our team and on the lookout for a dynamic, experienced individual to join us as Programme Head/ Manager.

Community Management & Events

• Design and develop community development initiatives like signature events, speaker series to create connections within cybersecurity ecosystem
• Curate event calendars to ensure a good balance of educational, corporate sponsor involvement, lead generating and sales-related events
• Manage and build a cohesive and vibrant ICE71 entrepreneur community
• Oversee management and administration of services and startup service agreements
• Identify opportunities to further ICE71’s support of entrepreneurs

Marketing & PR

• Design, develop and oversee execution of strategies to market & promote awareness and brand presence of ICE71 including identifying requirements for media / PR / corporate communications support

• Identify and oversee development of content for paid, owned and earned marketing channels

• Appoint and oversee media/PR agency and/or corporate communications team for media placements and traction, as well as promoting milestone events

• Develop relationships with key media

• Design and develop outreach activities to build pipeline for ICE71 programmes

Business and Corporate Relations Development

• Seek opportunities for corporate support and sponsorship of ICE71 programmes

• Develop sponsorship packages

• Manage sponsor relations and oversee fulfilment of sponsorship entitlements

• Maintain high landing pad occupancy and vibrancy

• Promote collaboration with partners including hosting visits

• Engage the larger communities by attending other events and networking with local start-ups, accelerators, trade missions, venture capitals and other organisations that interested in cybersecurity

Budgets and Reports

• Monitor budgets and expenditures
• Work with ICE71 wider team to report on progress of activities

Qualifications

• Degree Holder with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience
• Prior experience with managing and promoting incubation / accelerator programmes, facilities and operations
• Familiarity of startups and startup ecosystems
• Resourceful and comfortable in fast changing environment
• Proven marketing and PR skills
• Proven events management skills
• Proven disposition as an effective team player that works well across different cultures
• Excellent communication skills – good grasp of written and spoken English mandatory, good knowledge of secondary languages will be an advantage
• Passionate about entrepreneurship
