Job Description

The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) is a research centre of excellence at the National University of Singapore doing cutting-edge theoretical and experimental science. CQT is located on the campus of the National University of Singapore and offers a friendly, international work environment. CQT is looking for a Facilities Coordinator (Specialist Associate) position to support the Centre in the following areas:

• Assist in managing office facilities for staff, students and academic visitors

• Assist supervisor in facilitating term contractors and maintenance workers to work on minor repairs and servicing

• Daily maintenance of staff lounge facilities

• Handle the maintenance and upkeep of offices, conference room and seminar room and maintenance of office plants

• Daily despatch of Centre’s mail and sorting of mails

• Maintaining stock and receiving deliveries, stationery, office and pantry supplies

• Assist in the logistics for events, seminars and meetings

• Some light shifting and lifting will be required 

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

• Individual should be reasonably fit to undertake physical work associated with the job

• Must be able to read and write simple English

• Primary or Secondary School education

• Working experience in managing office facilities preferred

• Basic knowledge of computers, internet use.
