We are looking for a proactive and well-organised Executive to join our Career Services team at NUS Law. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our students’ career development journeys from administering the compulsory internship programme to coordinating events and liaising with students and employers. Key Responsibilities

Internship Programme Operations & Administration:

  • Carry out established internship programme processes, including the preparation and handling of documentation/records, and student submissions.
  • Monitor and follow up on key internship milestones, ensuring students and employers complete required steps in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the use and upkeep of internship-related digital tools and platforms, including managing routine updates, records, and user queries. 
  • Collaborate with colleagues to review and refine suitable digital tools/platforms that streamline student, employer, and institutional workflows.
  • Compile and maintain accurate internship data to support tracking, analysis, and reporting needs.
  • Provide logistical and operational support for internship briefings, information sessions, and related communications.

 

Employer Engagement and Internship/Job Portal Management:

  • Facilitate new industry partner sign-ups and attend to email queries.
  • Correspond with industry partners to obtain updated information on available training contract, internship and other opportunities and encourage the use of the portal to publicise available vacancies.
  • Help manage the portal by posting new opportunities and assist in maintaining relevant information/data.

 

Event Coordination and Publicity:

  • Support the planning and delivery of career-related events such as lunchtime talks, panel discussions, career fairs, and networking sessions. Duties include managing logistics including RSVPs, catering, venue setup, publicity materials, and on-site support. Provide basic photography support when needed.

 

General Administration:

  • Provide administrative support to the Law Careers Office (responsibilities include processing of procurement & finance related matters, performing data entry/collection, logistics, and providing other administrative functions).
  • Any other duties as assigned by Law Careers Office and Students Affairs.

Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfort with data or systems management tools
  • Team player with a service-oriented mindset
  • Prior experience in event coordination or working with students is an advantage
