Job Description
To support the Institute for Governance and Leadership (IGL) in the design, execution, and development of leadership programmes and initiatives. This role provides operational oversight and content coordination for the Singapore Governance and Futures portfolio and administrative support for case writing and development, ensuring seamless programme delivery and strengthening the institute’s strategic objectives.
1. Programme Development and Management
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end delivery of programmes under the Singapore Governance and Futures portfolio (e.g., youth competition, futures workshops, institutional partnerships).
- Oversee programme scheduling, participant engagement, logistics, and vendor management to ensure smooth implementation.
- Support initiatives related to case writing, including case competitions, microsite development, outreach to universities, and other knowledge-sharing platforms.
- Collect and analyse programme data, feedback, and evaluations to assess impact and identify areas for improvement.
- Support the other team members in the delivery of Advanced Governance Programmes.
2. Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with programme participants, faculty, external partners, and government agencies to ensure effective communication and positive engagement.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with institutional partners (e.g., polytechnics, universities, National Youth Council).
- Support donor and partner reporting requirements by providing timely updates and documentation.
3. Content and Knowledge Support
- Assist in curating programme materials and session content, ensuring relevance and quality.
- Contribute to the development of knowledge products, including research outputs and case resources.
- Stay updated on trends in governance, futures thinking, and public policy to inform programme design.
4. Operations and Administration
- Manage procurement, budgeting, billing, and financial administration of assigned programmes.
- Ensure compliance with NUS and School policies in finance, contracting, and resource management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in public policy, business administration, or related fields.
- At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in programme management, stakeholder engagement, and administration.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Malay and/or Bahasa Indonesia will be an advantage for engaging with regional stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Prior experience in education, training, or public policy-related programmes is an advantage.
