The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy is looking for an Assistant Manager / Manager for Thought Leadership and Strategic Communications team. The incumbent's scope of work will support content development to enhance brand awareness and stakeholder engagements as well as manage media and related engagements for the School. Including, experience in leveraging analytics to strengthen brand, and managing turnkey project budgets for tracking and reporting.

Job Description

 

 

  • Identify content that supports the School's positioning and Thought Leadership, and manage the content calendar to ensure regularity of deliverables.

 

  • Conceptualise visual assets to further enhance thought leadership content build.

 

  • Coordinate across functional teams and faculty to collaboratively deliver an effective content branding strategy on website content build and editorial plan.

 

  • Build and support the website content initiatives and strategies to drive traffic, engagement and leads of digital hubs within the School’s thought leadership platform (http://global-is-asian.nus.edu.sg/) and supporting social media channels.

 

  • Develop and maintain editorial governance in key messaging that is consistent with the School’s mission and vision through web content and media engagements.

 

  • Manage third-party partnerships and content collaborations that support the content build online in various formats (articles, videos, infographics, podcasts).

 

  • Track and analyse analytics in website and social media channels to identify opportunities and enhance performance in content branding strategy. Digital marketing knowledge is an advantage.

 

  • Manage media queries and support media engagement efforts for the School’s reputation and public awareness initiatives.

 

  • Manage project budget against overall content efforts to demonstrate effective allocation and further amplification strategies for thought leadership

 

Qualifications

 

 

  • Possess a Bachelor Degree or higher in Mass Communication, Media studies, Business Administration, Marketing, or Economics (or equivalent).

 

  • Possess over 6 years of relevant working experience, preferably in managing website content, media and editorial work, and/or public relations.

 

  • Possess an editorial mindset and production skills to create content across a diverse range of topics relevant to the School and to the School's target audience; in varying formats (podcast, video, infographics).

 

  • Team player and innovative thinker, a self-starter with problem-solving skills; committed to building key relationships across stakeholders to positively influence business results through digital channels.

 

  • Possess a strong analytical mindset to identify new opportunities and drive growth of content platforms.

 

  • Possess good interpersonal skills; strong written/editorial and verbal/presentation skills.

 

  • Possess strong project management skills; able to manage digital content agencies and internal stakeholders at all levels in a complex and dynamic environment to drive projects
