Job Description

The Executive/Senior Executive/Assistant Manager supports the Head of Strategic Planning and Government Relations on the following areas:

•    Contributes to all administrative, logistical and substantive tasks related to the secretariat functions performed by the team, in support of the LKYSPP Governing Board, Executive Committee, Finance Committee, Steering Committee, etc. (E.g. managing communications with Governing Board and Committee members, renewal of the Governing Board and Committees, scheduling meetings, preparing meeting materials, drafting meeting agendas, taking meeting minutes, setting up meeting venues, coordination with other departments that provide IT support, etc.).
•    Contributes to the drafting, planning and execution of LKYSPP’s strategic planning activities, such as acquiring inputs, preparing draft strategic plan, implementing the strategic plan by cascading it to individual departments to shape their goals and targets, and evaluating outcomes to ensure that the strategic plan continues to be valid. [applicable only to Assistant Manager position]
•    Coordinates the submission of annual work plans from departments and drafts the LKYSPP annual work plan. [applicable only to Assistant Manager position]
•    Supports School-wide inter-departmental strategic projects (E.g. LKYSPP strategy retreat).
•    Maintain and update the LKYSPP corporate presentation deck and ensure consistency in the messaging and information within.
•    Other ad-hoc projects and duties as required.

 

Qualifications


•    [For Executive position] Candidates without experience are welcome to apply.
•    [For Senior Executive position] At least Bachelor degree from any field, with minimum of 2 years of work experience.
•    [For Assistant Manager position] At least Bachelor degree from any field, with minimum of 3 years of work experience.

Skills and Knowledge Required:
•    Excellent writing and communication skills.
•    Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. 
•    Meticulous, resourceful and able to multi-task.
•    Able to work independently and in a team.
•    High proficiency with word processing programmes (Word, Acrobat) and good knowledge of MS Office applications. 
•    Experience in strategic planning and secretariat work is preferred.
