Job Description

You will be part of the NUS College administrative team facilitating the relevant administrative functions in support of the Faculty’s operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

(a)    Work closely with AD, Admin, the Business Partnering Team from Office of Human Resources and the Head of Administration to support HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, re-appointment and contract renewal, and offboarding of full-time, adjunct and contingent staff. You will be expected to support and advise colleagues on administration and HR-related matters.
(b)    Work closely with AD, Admin, to support colleagues on Finance related matters, working with the Business Partnering Team from the Office of Finance. You will also play an integral role during Budget Calls, assisting the AD, Admin, to collate all budget requests from the respective administrative teams.
(c)    Work closely with AD, Admin to support colleagues on Procurement related matters, working with the Business Partnering Team from the Central Procurement Office. 
(d)    Provide regular reports to Head of Administration on HR, Finance and Procurement matters (and any other reports as required).
(e)    Provide support for Faculty events (which include Faculty Meetings, Faculty Gatherings, Staff Retreats, NUSC Seminar Series, Faculty Wellness programmes, Research events etc). This includes helping team members with administrative, procurement and logistical support for the events.
(f)    Perform reception duties (if required).
(g)    Work with the other administrative teams in the college on cross-functional projects when required (this includes the AUS and NUSC Summer School presently).
(h)    Any other relevant duties as assigned by AD, Admin and Head of Administration.

•    Bachelor degree with relevant experience. 
•    Meticulous, analytical, organised, resourceful, independent and enjoy challenges.
•    Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills with a positive work attitude.
•    Excellent EQ with good written and communication skills.
•    Mature, adaptive and able to interact well with all levels of stakeholders.
•    Must be a team player with the ability to build collaborative working relationships with people at all levels.
•    Ability to work under pressure and multi-task with different timelines and demands
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
