Job Description
The incumbent will play a key role in developing, planning and executing the NUS College outreach and recruitment strategies and activities, supporting enquiries and lead conversion, to achieve the College’s outreach and student recruitment objectives and targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and outreach strategies, campaigns and engagements in the traditional and digital space to increase the diversity and quality of students
- Keep up to date with the latest trends and best practices in student recruitment and support in competitive analysis review, review on market sentiments and industry happenings to guide the design of the outreach plans
- Perform data analysis in order to make informed recommendations for outreach campaigns and engagements
- Organise on- and off-campus activities such as Open House, Acceptance Campaign, liaising with external vendors / internal units / institutions as necessary. Update the information on the website and maintain records, documentation and outcomes of such activities
- Proactive engagement of local and overseas schools and other units e.g. scholarship boards, to develop, engage and build a steady and effective pipeline of eligible students, parents and school counsellors
- Represent NUS College at online and offline outreach events and education fairs in Singapore and overseas and host visitors to campus, overseeing the provision of tours and presentations
- Mentor and oversee the NUS College Student Ambassador operations and activities
- Work closely with colleagues specialising in communications and special programmes and support the development of the communications strategy to increase visibility of NUS College to target audiences of strategic interest for admissions, including the development of outreach materials and training of staff in handling admissions queries
- Support the admissions exercise, and work with other administrative teams in NUS College on cross-functional and shared duties
Qualifications
- A good university degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in admissions and student recruitment and at least 2 years of digital marketing and social media marketing
- Meticulous and display tact and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
- Adaptable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of stakeholders
- Organised, meticulous, possess analytics skills, good problem-solver, team player, able to work independently and with tight deadlines
- Has strong commitment to service delivery and able to multi-task and maintain calm under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Working knowledge of digital marketing channels
- Working experience with Salesforce is preferred
- Able to occasionally work beyond office hours or on the weekends
