Job Description

A key member of the NUS College’s Communications team, this role will champion the digital marketing efforts of NUSC across key digital platforms, including monitoring trends and insights, to elevate our online brand presence and drive the College’s brand impact, experience and marketing campaign effectiveness.

 

Channel Management & Growth 

  • Lead and manage key digital properties such as NUSC website, employee portal and social media channels that support the College’s marketing campaign needs, brand building imperatives and achieve positive user experiences.
  • Strengthen and drive the smooth operations of the NUSC website and employee portal, working closely with internal resources (IT), external vendors and content owners, to achieve high operational readiness in support of key campaign launches.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital assets and campaigns and assess strategies against goals (ROI and KPIs).

 

Campaign Management & Optimisation 

  • Collaborate with campaign leads and content owners to design and execute digital marketing plans and campaigns in Singapore and Asia, with a focus on brand awareness and admissions lead generation/conversions (SEO/SEM, paid advertising, email marketing, social media marketing etc).
  • Leverage analytics tools like Google Analytics and equivalents to monitor campaign performance and generate actionable insights for reporting/calibration. 
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure effective execution of marketing campaigns.

 

Best Practices & Training 

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools and best practices in the higher education and youth segments in Singapore and the region.
  • Act as the digital champion and impart user training and best practices within internal units across the College. 
  • Work with other administrative teams in NUS College on cross-functional and shared duties.
     

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 to 8 years’ experience in a digital communications and marketing role in large enterprises or agency environment with working knowledge of Singapore and Asian markets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related, blended with skills in IT/project management.
  • Digital skills must include:
    • Launch/management of corporate websites, employee portals and local/regional digital marketing strategies.
    • Working knowledge and familiarity with content management systems (ie WordPress, Sharepoint or similar).
    • Working knowledge of Martech and how it can be effectively developed and deployed to meet the College’s needs.
    • Working knowledge of social media landscape in Singapore and Asia. 
    • Hands-on knowledge of SEO, SEM and all key digital tools and metrics such as PPC, CPC, email marketing, social media monitoring and web analytics.
    • Ability to edit website content and articles.
  • Previous experience in collaborating with broad groups of internal and external stakeholders in large organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects/campaigns with sometimes challenging timelines.
  • Ability to guide younger staff, work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills with working knowledge of Simplified Chinese.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
