Job Description
We are seeking a temporary staff member to provide administrative and operational support for student housing matters from mid-July 2026 to mid-October 2026.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Process student housing applications and related administrative matters
• Assist with preparatory and operational work related to semester housing exercises
• Support student check-in and check-out processes, including follow-up on housing status and room matters
• Process room move requests, housing cancellations, refunds, and waitlist offers in coordination with relevant departments
• Respond to housing-related enquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Handle housing administration, including billing follow-ups and acceptance fee exercises
• Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Housing Services and Dining Services on operational matters
• Provide logistical and operational assistance to ensure tasks/ events run smoothly
• Perform other administrative and ad hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications
• GCE ‘A’ Level/ Diploma
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word and Excel)
• Good general IT literacy and comfort with learning new software and digital platforms
• Good written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks during peak periods
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Prior experience in administrative or student-facing roles will be an advantage
