Job Description
Marketing Support:

Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and print.

Create engaging content for social media platforms, newsletters, and promotional materials.

Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Maintain and update the organization’s website and social media profiles.
2. Event Planning and Coordination:

Support the planning and execution of on-site and virtual events, including workshops, seminars, and networking sessions.

Coordinate event logistics, such as venue booking, catering, AV equipment, and attendee registration.

Assist with event promotion and outreach to ensure maximum participation and engagement.

Manage event-related communications, including invitations, confirmations, and follow-up surveys.
3. Administrative Support:

Maintain accurate records of marketing and event activities, including budgets, schedules, and reports.

Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and banners.

Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.

Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise.
4. Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on the success of marketing campaigns and events, using metrics such as attendance, engagement, and return on investment.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Provide regular updates to the Marketing and Events Manager on the progress of marketing and event activities.
5. Community Engagement:
- Engage with the startup community and other stakeholders to build relationships and promote THE HANGAR’s programs and services.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to represent THE HANGAR and identify potential partnerships.
- Gather feedback from event attendees and community members to improve future events and initiatives.
This is an hourly-rated position.
Qualifications
- Minimum Polytechnic Diploma in Mass communications/other related sector
- Proven experience in marketing, event planning, or a related role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools (e.g., social media platforms, email marketing software).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- May require occasional evening or weekend work to support events and other activities.
