Job Description
Facilities Support
- Responsible to assist oversee renovation projects planning and execution; and managing facilities of premises under NUS Enterprise
- Perform routine checks and inspections on facilities and work closely with Asset Enhancement Section, Campus Asset Management Division, University Campus Infrastructure (AE, CAM, UCI) to follow up on repair and replacement works
- Review and manage all facilities preventative and predictive maintenance programs, including scope of work, specifications, management of vendors, and quality assessments
- Ensure housekeeping, cleanliness, safety and maintenance works are carried out with high standards by the appointed contractors
- Attend to service disruption of facilities and restore operations to normalcy
Operations
- Space management and utilitisation for NUS Enterprise
- Assist and/or involve in the planning, development and reviewing of I-Cube building Fire Emergency Plan, Fire Safety Checks and Drill Exercises
- Ensure that the offices managed by NUS Enterprise comply with the applicable standards of Office of Safety, Health and Emergency (OSHE) and other government agencies (ie. SCDF, BCA)
- Manage and maintain emergency preparedness and business continuity plan on facilities management for NUS Enterprise
- Any other work necessary for effective operation of the buildings and any other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications
- Diploma in Building Services Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in facilities management, logistics and possess Fire Safety Certification will be preferred
- Proactive with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, meticulous and able to work inter-dependently
- Good communicator
- Competent in MS Office applications
