About the Role

 

To augment our manpower resources in the School, we are looking for a suitably qualified candidate to join our Academic Programmes Business Unit as Assistant Manager/Senior Executive.  

 

Reporting to Manager (APB), the incumbent shall develop and implement digital marketing strategies to promote postgraduate coursework programmes in the East-Asia market, manage online campaigns, conduct market research, and collaborate with the content team/external content vendors.

 

This role is offered on a 3-year renewable contract basis in the first instance, with the prospect of a regular open employment contract thereafter subject to satisfactory job performance during the first 3 years. 

 

Remuneration is based on a 12-month salary structure, with annual variable bonus subject to the incumbent’s performance and the University/School’s prevailing remuneration policies. 

 

The incumbent will be emplaced at an appropriate appointment grade based on his/her individual merits.

 


Key Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to promote postgraduate coursework programmes in the East-Asia market (China, South Korea, Japan, HK SAR, Macau SAR, Taiwan region)
•    Manage and optimise digital marketing campaigns across various platforms including social media, search engines and etc.
•    Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
•    Collaborate with the content team to create engaging and targeted content for social media account management.
•    Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
•    Manage the digital marketing budget effectively to ensure maximum ROI.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
•    Occasional business trips may be required to understand market trends and support the East-Asian team’s education fairs/campaigns.

Qualifications

 

Academic & Professional Certification
•    At least a good bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. Specialization in digital marketing preferred from a reputable university. A Master’s degree is a plus.
•    Strong English and Chinese language proficiency are essential, and proficiency in one or more East-Asian languages is a plus.
•    IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications


Experience & Attributes 
•    At least 2-3 years’ relevant work experience in marketing, content development, business development or a related field. Preferred: At least 1 year experience in digital marketing, with proven results in the implementation and analysis of campaigns in the education sector or East-Asia market.
•    Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools and analytics in the East-Asia region.
•    Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
•    Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
