Drawing on unparalleled access to the multi-disciplinary expertise of 16 other NUS Faculties/Schools, SCALE offers youth, executive and professional development/education programmes, part-time degree programmes, as well as modular courses that may be taken singly or stacked towards certificates/diplomas/degrees that meet the lifelong learning needs of individuals. All programmes are designed and developed in consultation with the industry to ensure relevance and currency.
About the Role
To augment our manpower resources in the School, we are looking for a suitably qualified candidate to join our SCALE-Global as a Contingent Staff.
Reporting to the Senior Manager/Manager (SCALE-Global), the incumbent assists in a wide range of duties that need to be executed in an effective and efficient manner to support the smooth functioning of the unit
This role is offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract basis, subject to renewal.
Qualifications
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Assist BD manager in the following:
• Handle general public enquires about the programmes
• Finalise programmes, draft outline contracts and instructor engagement for approval and processing
• Follow up with clients on programme details including interim changes
• Liaising with Operations on programmes as well as problem solving where required
• Administrative support for programmes planning and events management
• Other ad hoc projects, assigned by supervisor/HO

Requirements
Academic & Professional Certification
• Diploma/Undergraduate or equivalent preferred
• IT savvy and proficient in MS Office application
Experience & Attribute
• Preferably 1-2 years of related working experience
• Good verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills with a positive work attitude, eager to learn and willing to take initiatives.
• Excellent coordination and organization skills, with a customer-centric mindset
• Effectively bilingual, able to communicate fluently in Mandarin (both verbal and written) with clients in China. Candidates with China background who are able to understand and appreciate China business culture would be preferred
• Strong team player who is meticulous, resourceful, resilient and thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented and ambiguous work environment
