Job Description
The incumbent will act as one of the faculty liaisons at Science Dean’s Office for the Master’s programmes at the NUS Faculty of Science in response to the suite of Programmes’ rapid expansion. The dedicated person will help to ensure the smooth delivery of the sought-after self-financing programmes and ensure their service standard. By working with the Programme Managers, Programme Directors and the Deanery members at the Faculty of Science, he/she will manage the Programmes’ end-to-end administration including admission, programme management, alumni relations, and other related portfolios. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following -
- Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders for the overall administration of the Master’s programmes throughout the student lifecycle.
- Support the MSc programme operations lead to work with departments on various administrative responsibilities, including managing applications, enrolment processes, and maintaining student records.
- Facilitate the coordination and development of programmes, prepare regular faculty-level circulars and act as the secretariat for faculty-level postgraduate executive committee.
- Gather necessary teaching feedback information and perform data analysis for the Faculty to gain insights into the programme quality.
- Help coordinate events and foster a sense of community within the faculty.
- Other ad-hoc admin duties when necessary.
Qualifications/Requirements/Other Info
• Degree from a recognized university, postgraduate degree preferred
• Programme management experience, preferably 4+ years of experience as programme coordinator and partnership development in the higher education sector
• Organizational skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Networking and event management skills
• Motivated, self-starter with ability to contribute to strategic planning, and perform duties independently.
- Remuneration is based on a 12-month salary structure, with annual variable bonus which is subject to incumbent’s performance and the University/School’s prevailing remuneration policies.
- The incumbent will be emplaced at an appropriate appointment grade based on his/her individual merits.
