Job Description

The incumbent will provide support to the Department of Pharmacy and act as the Programme Manager for self-financing graduate programmes in response to the rapid expansion of these programmes. By working with the Programme Director and Dean’s Office, he/she will manage the Programme’s end-to-end administration including outreach, admission, alumni relations, and other related portfolios. The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:    

  • Work closely with the Programme Director and Dean’s Office, to take charge of the overall administration of the self-financing graduate programmes throughout the student lifecycle.
  • Lead the outreach efforts in promoting the degree programmes in Singapore and the region, including organizing programme briefings, managing the programmes’ marketing collaterals and other social media content.
  • Collaborate with the Programme Director and Dean’s Office to manage the programme’s admission cycles to upkeep the programme’s quality.
  • Liaise with both external and internal stakeholders to promote the programmes’ student career services, to assist to secure research project attachments and/or full-time job opportunities for students. 
  • Act as the contact point to cultivate the graduate programmes’ alumni relations and enhance the community cohesion, aligned with the respective programmes’ overall branding strategy. 
  • Provide other administrative support to the Department as deemed necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements/Other Info

  • Academic qualification: Degree from a recognized university, preferably in Sciences. Postgraduate degree preferred.
  • Possess programme management experience; preferably more than five years of experience as programme coordinator and partnership development in the higher education sector.
  • Good time management and organizational skills, able to multitask efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication (presentation, verbal, written) and interpersonal skills.

- Remuneration is based on a 12-month salary structure, with annual variable bonus which is subject to incumbent’s performance and the University/School’s prevailing remuneration policies.

The incumbent will be emplaced at an appropriate appointment grade based on his/her individual merits.
