Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Prof Greg Tucker-Kellogg on  experimental cancer biology models for epigenetic drug discovery.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Mammalian cell culture research and imaging of epigenetic marks at individual loc
• Epigenetic drug inhibition studies followed by molecular and cellular assays

Qualifications

Bachelor or Masters degree in biotechnology or a closely related discipline

Skills:

• Mammalian cell culture of both suspension and adherent cells
• Confocal microscop
• Fluorescent in situ hybridisatio
• Design of DNA nanostructures for novel assays

Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in experimental cancer biology research with a demonstrated track record of troubleshooting novel assay design
