Job Description

The successful candidate must have a basic degree in Chemistry with some experience in synthesizing organic molecules or polymers. Also, he/she must be familiar with characterization tools used for establishing the molecular structure. Evidence for these requirements (e.g., completion of practical courses, research experience in previous years, etc.) must be provided while submitting the application online. 

The main responsibilities include the synthesis and characterization of organic and polymeric materials, collecting and analyzing various data to establish the structure and purity, and preparing and presenting the results in a clear manner. Writing reports, helping to comply with lab safety regulations, maintaining the chemical inventory, and waste disposal are also part of the job scope. 

Qualifications: Bachelor's (BSc) or a fresh Master's degree in Chemistry with an aptitude for research.

Experience: Previous working experience as a research assistant in synthetic or materials chemistry or related areas is highly desired.
