Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Prof. Richard Wong on "Low-Temperature Thin Film Deposition of SiO2: Pre-Screening of Oxygenation Precursors" under a project on Applied Material-NUS Advance Materials Corporative Lab.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
(1) Performance research related to synthesis and characterization of silicon precursors
(2) Conduct literature survey on proposed chemistries, processes and approaches on novel silicon precursors for low-temperature atomic layer deposition of silicon oxide and nitride.
Qualifications / Discipline:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry
Skills:
1) Good knowledge of fundamental synthetic methodologies,
2) Demonstrated interest in research,
3) Excellent problem solving and analytical skills,
4) Good multitasking skills and ability to set priorities in a fast, dynamic environment,
5) Good command of oral and written English, and
6) Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and data analysis software
Experience:
• Research experience in synthetic chemistry (academic or working)
