Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Dr. Liu Shi on studying signaling modes and underlying molecular mechanisms of certain GPCRs that are relevant to metabolic diseases.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Developing various cell assays to investigate GPCR signaling.
- Performing molecular biology experiments to study the GPCR interactome.
- Assisting with the maintenance of lab biosafety.
Qualifications
Qualifications / Discipline:
- Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biological Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in molecular and cell biology experiments is required.
Skills:
- Candidates should have experience with a range of techniques, including mammalian cell culture, stable cell line construction, western blot, quantitative PCR, and confocal microscopy.
- Experience with chemoproteomics would be considered a strong advantage.
Experience:
- Candidates are expected to have a minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a biology lab and the ability to independently conduct routine molecular and cell biology experiments.
