Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Professor Sam Li on development of sensors for measurement of controlled substances.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
• Development of molecular imprinting techniques for QCM sensors
• Evaluation of multi-channel sensor for testing analytes in simulated and real samples (standards, simulated samples, real samples)
• Preparation of QCM sensor chips.
• Development of AI and IoT software for online sensors compatible with multi-channel online sensors with smart features, including data collection, storage, analysis, reporting and error correction, etc.
• Development of sensor software: programming, revision, debugging.
• Interfacing and integration of sensor software and AI software.
• Sensor performance testing.
• Sensor verification and certification according to specifications.
Qualifications / Discipline:
- PhD degree holder, preferrable from smart chemical sensors and equivalent.
Skills:
- Expertise in polymer imprinting, machine learning, AI model development and deployment
- Proficient in programming languages, including Python, Java, C, etc.
- Chemical sensor and molecular imprinting
Experience:
- Experience in hardware control, acquisition and signal processing
- Experience in IoT development.
- Experience in design and development of sensors based on Quartz Crystal Microbalance.
- Experience in chemical analysis instrumentation development and troubleshooting.
