Job Description
The team of Prof Loh Kian Ping invites applications for a Research Fellow position, working in the areas of condensed matter physics and two-dimensional (2-D) materials devices.
The candidate should have experience working in a clean room and be familiar with:
(1) the lithography of nanodevices, i.e. hall bar, field effect transistors and/or
(2) CVD growth of ultrathin 2D materials
(3) Dry transfer and stacking of 2D materials to achieve twist angle control
Qualification and Requirements:
• The candidate should have a PhD degree.
• The candidate should have a strong track record in 2-D material growth by CVD, publishing in the areas of quantum topology physics concerning 2-D materials, or in the spintronics (spin Hall effect) of 2-D materials.
• The candidate should be adept at using low temperature, magnetic field transport system.
An attractive remuneration package will be offered for suitable candidate (research fellow) with a strong publication record in 2-D condensed matter physics.
