Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Associate Professor Utkur Mirsaidov on exciting research nanoscience projects using cutting-edge in-situ high-resolution transmission electron microscopic techniques (TEM).

Main responsibilities:

• Nanoscale imaging of chemical and physical processes using advanced in situ Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM).

• Responsible for developing new methods for micro- and nanofabrication of interconnects used in future generation microelectronics components.

• Since the candidate will be working in an international and multicultural environment, fluency in English and good people skills are essential.

• Transmission electron microscope (TEM)

Qualifications

Qualifications / Discipline:

  • PhD. in one of the following disciplines: Physics (preferred), Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics

Skills:

•             Main: Solid programming skills with experience in Python/Matlab/ and Electron Microscopy

•             Bonus: Imaging process, visualization, scientific image analysis experience

•             Bonus: nanomaterial, cleanroom experience

•             Possess great interpersonal and communication skills, hard-working and not afraid of challenges.
