The Energy Studies Institute (ESI) is a research institute in the National University of Singapore seeking to advance the understanding of energy policy issues by conducting independent research and analysis. 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the ESI administration team, which oversees the institute’s administrative elements such as HR, Website and Event. 

Job Description

• Process and file HR documents for ESI staff.
• Assist with the organising of institute events (physical, digital and hybrid). 
• Assist the business office with administrative function.
• Manage and update the institute’s website.
• Manage and update the institute’s social media platforms. 
• Liaise with NUS central administration hubs to uphold NUS guidelines for institutional functions.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree. 
• Possess a proven track record of at least 2 years working experience.
• Possess good people management skills and effective writing acumen.

Preferred Skills

• Strong administrative and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Zoom.
• Proficiency in website content management will be an added advance (e.g. WordPress, Sitefinity).
• Proficiency in design software (e.g. Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is an added advantage.
• Strong networking skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• A good team player able to work independently.
