Research Assistant (6 months)

Job Description

This position is to assist a Senior Research Fellow on a research project on the Singapore Aviation Ecosystem. The project will map out how Singapore has developed its Aviation Ecosystem particularly around passenger traffic, cargo as well as Singapore’s capabilities in MRO (maintenance, repairs and overhaul). The research will be a combination of desktop research followed by a series of industry interviews with companies and government stakeholders. The objective of the study is to recommend how the Singapore’s experience can be used in another airport setting such as the Hangzhou airport to develop a similar ecosystem. Another key objective is to also develop an organizational development strategy to improve the technical capability of manpower to facilitate and enhance the aviation ecosystem, including potentially a cooperation with similar vocational institute in Singapore. The deliverable is the compilation of a written research report and/or white paper.
