Research Assistant (Immunology)

Job Description

We are recruiting for a Research Assistant position in an Immunology laboratory. The staff will be involved in research projects centering on the biology of human natural killer cells. The projects will utilize protein chemistry, genetic characterization, immunological assays, advanced flow cytometry, clinical specimen processing, bioinformatics and other techniques. As such, applicants are expected to have sound knowledge in immunology and immunological assays, and possess robust long-term mammalian cell sterile culture techniques. The staff must be willing to tackle and troubleshoot difficult experiments, search for solutions, and be able to overcome project challenges

The staff will be responsible for lab management, procurement and inventory maintenance, as well as financial and safety documentation. Applicants are expected to possess excellent writing and presentation skills in English. We expect the staff to be well-organized, be able to pay attention to detail, and be willing to contribute to the missions of the laboratory team.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's or Master's degree from a course in the Life Sciences is required.
