Research Assistant

Job Description

This position will involve various projects that aim to address infectious diseases (e.g. COVID-19, antimicrobial resistance) through optimizing drug combinations. Specifically, a suite of AI-derived platforms will be harnessed to rapidly design and pinpoint clinically actionable drug combinations against different disease indications. These projects will involve collaborations with a diverse group of scientists and clinicians from different institutes on and off campus.

Qualifications

..A successful applicant will have the following skills and/or qualifications:
- Science or engineering background with knowledge/interests in life sciences
- Proficiency in regression models
- Coding languages: Python and MATLAB
- Ability to interpret and analyse data with relevant statistical analysis
- Ability to work with a diverse group of collaborators (e.g. clinicians, scientists, infectious diseases experts)
- Science communication (verbal & written forms)
