Job Description
They will support the development of rigorous mass and energy balance equations, first-principles reactor and recycle modeling, heat-exchange network design, and support catalyst scale-up for pilot-scale implementation, establishing the engineering foundation for scaling hydrogen production from 1 to 100 kg/day.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of hands-on research experience in heterogeneous catalysis or catalyst development.
- Experience in catalyst synthesis, preparation, and characterization techniques (e.g., SEM, XRD, BET, Raman, TPR, TEM) is preferred.
- Knowledge of reaction engineering, gas-solid reactions, and catalytic reactor systems.
- Experience in catalyst scale-up, pilot-scale experiments, or process scale-up is an advantage.
- Strong experimental, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research team.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
