About AIDF

The Asian Institute of Digital Finance (AIDF) is a university-level institute in the National University of Singapore (NUS), jointly founded by The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the National Research Foundation (NRF) and NUS. AIDF aspires to be a thought leader, a FinTech knowledge hub, and an experimental site for developing digital financial technologies as well as for nurturing current and future FinTech researchers and practitioners in Asia.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality research in FinTech and Quantitative Finance
• Develop innovation techniques for valuations, digital currencies, fraud detection with data science and machine learning, create prediction models using structured and unstructured data, and apply the techniques to solve the real-world problems in FinTech and RegTech areas
• Publish research papers and file patents

Qualifications

• Have a PhD degree in economics, finance or other related disciplines
• Demonstrate intellectual excellence and strong computer programming skills
• Maturity and capacity to begin an independent research career
• Deep expertise in econometrics, machine learning and deep learning models and algorithms
• Good communication and time management skills
• Industry expertise in regulation, finance or insurance will be a plus
