Research Fellow, Acoustic Research Laboratory, Tropical Marine Science Institute

The Acoustic Research Laboratory (ARL) undertakes research projects in the area of underwater acoustics and marine robotics. The Research Fellow will work with team members across several projects to develop, implement & test algorithms for machine learning and/or computer vision. In addition to algorithmic work, the Research Fellow is expected to work with engineers to help develop systems to test the algorithms, help plan & conduct field trials, collate & organize data, process the data using the algorithms, write up the results in the form of internal & external reports as well as publications & patents.
