Job Description

The Research Fellow will support translational research in gynaecological cancers, focusing on biomarker discovery, tumour genomics, and DNA damage repair pathways. The role aims to identify molecular signatures that can guide targeted therapies, including PARP inhibitor response in ovarian and related cancers.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory-based and translational research in gynaecological cancers.
  • Perform molecular biology experiments (e.g., PCR, cell culture, protein assays, IHC).
  • Support genomic and biomarker studies using high-throughput platforms.
  • Analyse research data and assist in interpretation of genomic and molecular findings.
  • Contribute to publications, presentations, and research reports.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, scientists, and research teams on ongoing projects.

 

Requirements

  • PhD in Life Sciences, Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, or related field.
  • Experience in cancer research, preferably in genomics or molecular oncology.
  • Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
