Job Description

They will lead the development of scalable catalyst manufacturing processes by translating laboratory formulations into kilogram-scale production, optimizing catalyst composition, support materials, synthesis, shaping, and quality control to maintain catalytic performance, mechanical integrity, and compatibility with reactor integration and fluidized-bed operation.

Qualifications

  1. PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  2. Strong knowledge of heterogeneous catalysis, catalyst synthesis, and catalyst characterization.
  3. Experience in catalyst scale-up, formulation development, and shaping technologies (e.g., pellets, beads, extrudates, magnetron sputtering, or spray drying) is preferred.
  4. Familiarity with catalyst manufacturing processes, quality control, and pilot-scale production is an advantage.
  5. Experience with catalyst characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, BET, TPR, TPO, Raman, or XPS is desirable.
  6. Knowledge of reactor engineering and catalyst performance evaluation, particularly under high-temperature reaction conditions, is preferred.
  7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
